About me:
After almost 20 years working as a plastic artist, more specific as a tattoo artists, in 2001 I took my first steps into the therapy field. I did the introduction to Craneo Sacral therapy with Christina Ratti. I learned something very precious from the Craneo Sacral therapy: to connect with my middle line, to connect with my inner tide, to be present, acquiring the sensitivity needed to connect with another body.
In 2011 I started my path as a therapist, as a body work practitioner; my life took a turn that seems to be very radical but it's actually not so.
To tattoo someone has a lot in common with massaging someone. A good tattoo session requires presence and focus throughout the entire session. In both art forms an aura of intimacy and a sensitive touch contributes to the client’s comfort and let go. I learned to listen, to perceive my clients´s breathing rhythm to help me guide them through the session. I learned to give those small pauses that allow the client to take a deep breath in order to be able to continue with the process.
In 2012 I began my career as a Rebalancer, my teacher was Menlha Bruneau, at the Kootenay school in Costa Rica.
In 2014 I completed my international certification as a Esalen Californian massage therapist. My teachers were: Sujati Laccana, Silvia Guersenzvaig and Ingrid May.
In 2015 I traveled to Buenos Aires to assist Ingrid May and Yamuna McNamara in a Californian massage training (Oasis school). The next year I went back to Buenos Aires with the same purpose, this experience confirmed my desire to become a massage teacher.
In 2015 I took another rebalancing training, more advanced and focused in myofascial work.
In 2017 I took the training to be a Watsu therapist, finishing all the levels with Natalia Chavarri as my teacher. In 2018 I took part of a special course that Harold Dull, creator of the watsu therapy, gave in Costa Rica.
During those years I also took basic trainnings like lymphatic drainage, reflexology, bases of shiatsu, with the idea to acquire more knowledge of the systems of the human body and to gather more tools to satisfy my clients´s needs.
In 2022 I traveled to Mexico to become a VEO instructor (extra ocular vision), I had the privilege to learn this methodology with Noé Esperón who created this method 45 years ago. This experience increased my level of perception into a new dimension. To witness the capacities of human beings caused a big impact on my entire being. To work with children helping them to open their extraocular vision has transformed my life. There is no doubt that The Light is the most powerful tool we have.
My commitment with children is unconditional, to contemplate how their light is able to pierce through any obstacle, gives me hope about the future of humanity.
To lay down on a massage table, to receive body work from a place of consciousness is another way to connect with this Light. To have the opportunity to teach others this art is a great honor for me; to know that this work collaborates in the expansion of the consciousness gives me great satisfaction.
This is my little grain of rice to help the world to be a better place.
